About Us

Who we are

Autism Society of Idaho was formed in late 2022 by a volunteer board of women. Operating out of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - the Autism Society of Idaho is a community based non-profit who aims to be a voice for the autistic community providing advocacy, inclusive community events, resources, and legislative change to better the lives of everyone impacted by autism.

Our Executive Board currently consists of only women. Our team is dedicated to making impactful change, constantly brainstorming new ideas, activities and ways to engage and benefit the Autistic community throughout Idaho.

The expertise and experience is second to none - as we have first hand experience as parents, educators, colleagues providing decades of advocacy.

Lacey Protopappas

Lacey is an Idaho native, having lived in various places throughout the state. She is a dedicated wife, and mother of six boys. Of her six boys, three of them have autism. She's incredibly passionate about early intervention and wandering/water safety. She brings various skills and life experiences to the Autism Society.

Jennifer Barker

Jen is a full time working wife and mom, who pushes herself to be the best advocate for her son. She brings a wealth of knowledge and community involvement to the Autism Society board.

Tiffany Anderson

Tiffany dedicates her time to her family and helping her husband run their business. With three kids, and two of them with autism, she stays busy! Tiffany is passionate about helping with sensory rooms in community spaces.

Sarah McClure

Sara brings a lot to the Autism Society with extensive knowledge in legislative advocacy. She has a lot of experience working with those that have developmental disabilities. Sara keeps her self busy with a full time business, kids, and her advocacy efforts.

Kathryn Lillie

Kathryn joins the board after retiring from being a special education teacher. Her passion is advocating for adults with autism.

Mary Whitney Ryan

Whitney spends her time helping families get the answers they need and better understand the diagnosis their loved ones receive. She comes to the Autism Society with extensive knowledge in the diagnostic process.

Hailey is a devoted wife and mother of three. She is based out of Boise, Idaho and is a fantastic resource for the southern part of the state.
